It seems like my drivers seat motoris getting stuck on something, or maybe dying. My seat moves backwards fine but going foward doesnt work. It feels like its getting caught only on the right side. If you ge me. Has anyone ever had this problem?? and are there any troubleshooting ideas to take into consideration.??

Take the seat off and do a visual inspection.

Could maybe use a bit more grease or something could be jammed in there.

It's 4 bolts on the floor that holds the seat to the chassis, that's it.

And I can't remember, but I think there's only one plug on the bottom of the seat that supplies power to the motor. I don't remember if there's another plug that connects to the sensor for the seatbelt or if it's all on the same harness. So be careful if you're going to remove the seat so that you don't tear apart those connections.

But that's all there is to the seat.

i know some seats have airbag related stuff in them... so if your gonna just experiment on your own, be careful to not pull stuff, and disconnect the battery!
