Clutch and Flywheel

I have a 2000 toytoa solara 2.2 L. The car has 80k on it and the clutch is starting to slip. I am getting the clutch from toyota and giving it to my mechanic to fix (to save some money). My questions is do you think it is necessary to get a flywheel as well? Should a flywheel be replaced at the same time as the clutch? Or do you think my original flywheel is ok

I'd say this is a no brainer. Lightweight flywheel FTW.

Personally, I wouldn't spend the cash for a lightweight flywheel for a stock clutch. You'll get better daily driveablity by just resurfacing your oem one.
