haha, my bad. I'm slowly inching towards buying it! If only I wasn't so strapped for cash...

LatinUSMC, is your solara lowered? It doesn't look it, but the lips look great nonetheless.

Do you have to change your driving to avoid scraping the lips? i.e. going into driveways at an angle, etc.?

yes your going to have to change your driving habits lowered or not, idk about going in at angles but depends on the driveways and roads, even on my sport gen2 i need to watch my kit and im not even lowered.

Thanks for the quick reply, Ruski.

It seems that I will run into some serious issues if I lower AND put on the lips. I was debating lowering it since I already have the springs, and as impractical as it would be, it would be even more so with the trd lip kit.

Maybe I will cheap out and do the Home Depot lip kit. =P

But seriously, I might.

I bought the same kit from Sleeper Solara about 2 months ago. TRD kit is great because holes like up perfectly, and fitment is flawless. I dont know about Kaminari being the same quality since I never owned one. Also I have never scrapped them yet on the ground or any drive thru's, etc ( not yet dropped, but i will be soon). I sometimes DONT take steep drivethrus on an angel just to see if it will rub lol...and it never has, but I am on 18 inch rims so not sure. The kit plus a Renova custom made grille is all the car needs to look nice...Home depot grille will never give the same effect

i PMed YOU..im am lowered now..and looks sick..but im Now unemployed..so..wont be spending on the comuter car anymore..my loss your gain.

just to clarify everything except the front two pieces is Molly desigs/TRD the front two are Kaminari and its just as stiff /thick durable..

the front is a better fit for 1.5..but i was rocking it lowerd on my gen1.

yes you will have to be more carefull driving into steep drive ways.

maybe we can work something out.

dealership led me to believe that the silver color on gen 1 and gen 1.5 isn't the same exact color. i would love to buy it anyway but im tryin to work out buyin some wheels first, if the kit is still around when i have the money i'll definitely get it. ---oh yeah, problem being i'm in virginia lol forgot you're in ca. still laughing at the justification given for the other guy buying it.
