center console

I'm having a hard time figuring out why my center console is slowly blacking out. First it was the hazard button. Then it was the gear shifter lights...n now my temperature guages are slowly going out. I figured if it was a fuse problem it would all go out, not one by one, section by section.

Can anyone help? I recently relocated to North Hollywood, CA so if anyone can offer any assistance, i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

well if it was a short in a wire then only certain lights would get affected but if you having problems with center console plus gauges...then maybe you have a problem by the wire harness near the kick panel. check to see if everything is plugged in correctly. did you ever get alarm installed? maybe the person left something loose

I had an alarm and deck installed. When I said guages, I just meant the temperature controls in the center console. Those look like they are going to be the next to go because only half of one of the *knobs* has blacked out. It's weird. I
