hi everyone i am new to the site and a new and proud owner of a white 1999 sle v6 solara, i have picked up a set of 9006 hid kit for the fogs, when i had my 94 integra gsr they were 9006 as well and it was just a direct plug and play, but when i tried installing the 9006 hids into the fogs of the solara it didnt even turn on, i left the stock 9006 bulb in the other fog and it turned on but the hid didnt, is there something that i am doing wrong or is it something i am missing or is it some modifications i have to do?? if anyone could help me out here that would be great and i could post pics after

thank you fellow solara owners for your time

Try swapping the connections to the ballast on the bulbs.

So, you you redirected the stock plug into the ballast and hooked up your bulbs right???

Check you power wire into the ballast to make sure its not in backwards. (I did that when I first hooked mine up)

Did you have both ballasts hooked up at the same time?

Toyota is backwards from honda in their wiring. I had a Civics 9006 HID's on my Solara's fog lights and the same thing happened to me. You will have to reverse the plug that goes into the ballast. you will need to give it a loving nudge for it to click in, but after that it should work no problem.

12k K should be "black light" color.

looks more like 6k K and 4k K in the picture
