Hi, I recently got my code checked from the mechanice, and it said that there is something wrong with the evaporator. does anybody know what this is used for?

also there was another code, 466 or 416 i cant remember.

by the way im getting less than 200 miles on a full tank (which is horrible mileage) could the evaporator be causing this?

yes, The EVAP system takes the gasoline fumes from your gas tank and adds them to your air/fuel mixture. I would see about changing your charcoal canister, as there is a internal filter that could be clogged, thus preventing your evap system from functioning properly.
