One other thing - Seat Heat!

One other thing - Seat Heat!

Postby tommybluez » Mon Oct 19, 2009 1:12 pm

Anyone done aftermarket? I saw some kits online heat (and some w/ cool - which with our already perfed leather might be nice!)

Can it be done with the side airbags? I remember something about the 01' 3.2Tl I had not having it in the back portion because of the side bags... but oddly enough only in the passenger seat side.

Anyone thats done - what kind of cost am I looking at?

Thanks!

Just find a reputable interior shop near you and ask them about it, I'm sure they can help you out.

I've installed a set of these before. It's not terribly difficult, it's just time consuming to do it properly. My Gen1 didn't come with heated seats, but since I don't drive it in the winter, i don't care.

Super easy but time consuming.

You will need hog clips and hog pliers. Soldering gun, solder, heat shrink tubing and a power take-off wire for the fuse panel.

I have delat with a company on a regular basis.
