heres pic of my pager

my car key looks like yours...i dont have transponder key so bi pass was not needed however my car is manual and works perfectly with remote start

range on this one is amazing and some of the other features are cool as well. i can adjust the impact sensor right from the pager.

check around the door jam, the door trigger is usually around that area since the alarm needs to sense that the door is closed. it should be a little push pin and tracj it back to the alarm

actually the new viper alarms are very safe..you cannot use Remote start unless the car is in neutral and e-brake is on...it just wont work

regarding your problem...i made you this guide using the manual for your alarm...hope it helps

start off by cross reference what you already did..if everything matches then u know this is not the problem

is the a M/T or Auto? if it's an automatic tranny, you have to ground the skinny black/white wire on the alarm side.

if you already did that, then check the hoodpin (if you wired one in). as a safety, you cannot use the remote start feature if your hood is open/hoodpin is grounding out.

To get the car to start, you have to learn tach. If you don't do that, the car won't wanna start. Also, make sure that you have the small black/white wire permanently grounded (if its an automatic).
You can also refer to the tutorial I made a while ago about installing an alarm/starter in a camry/solara.

kenny6683, You made a good choice in security. I've been installing a lot of those lately, and they seem to work very well. I have one in my winter car, and so far it's been great.
