Hello guys...
Today has been a "good day" for me in weeks. i finally droped my lara, i got the tokicos hp and the eibachs pro kit, i got to say it looks sick and handling is 1000X better than the stock suspension of course,it was worth the pain in the butt, specially those rear springs. im very happy with this mod, not to mention most eyes on me. however, theres a little concern that is bothering me somewhat, i dont know if its the shocks or not, but when i run over a whole on the street it makes a weird noise. im hoping is not the shocks cuz supposely theyre "the best" shocks in the market. anyone experincing the same issue or know what it could be ? thanx everyone.

I had some weird noise too when I put my Monroes on. Lucky for me it was coming from the front. Switched out the front mounts and it went away. Then I had to get new wheel bearings because the noise returned and a little wheel shake at 70mph.

If you want 1000X better handling, get a TRD RSB.
You wont regret it one bit.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the nature of Tokicos. They are just noisy, even when new.

^I know its a pain in the a$$ to get to the rear struts. Believe me, Ive had my back seat gutted many many times. So many times that now I can take it all out and put it back in about 20 min. If your able to pin point as to where the noise is coming from we should be able to help diagnose your problem. Also, is the noise coming from both sides or just one side. Im thinkin your gona need to get new strut mounts for the rear. Then again, like t3chnique said, it could just be that Tokicos are noisy struts.

I've had Tokicos on for over a year now, and pulled the rear suspension apart several times to swap springs (OEM to Tein to Gold-Line to Eibach). My struts make no more noise than OEM units.

^Same here, but with no noise at all. Ive had my Monroes on for about a year or so and no noise what-so-ever. I take it that Tokicos require you to cut your bump stops. When I put my Monroes, my stops were so torn and messed up that I had to get new ones.

Check all your bushings and make sure none are cracked and all are well lubricated.

U know what i did when i had coilovers. I friggin cut a hole on each rear strut so that i could adjust them whenever. But since i dotn have CO any more. I dont need to remove my interior to do any suspension work. haha.
