^^ with our heavy front ends.....surprisingly we do.

otherwise plan on lots of braking space when driving.

hence the reason everyone is all about the twin-pot caliper

If you drive right you don't need ABS. I only engage ABS when it snowy/ icy.
But the point of the thread is that he want to buy a new sensor.
Post in the correct section.

abs is my freakin friend man, whats wrong with you...when your brakes lock up and you suddenly start to hydro plainning (in the highway), its one of the most scariest things in the world...trust me abs is your buddy. only if my solara had it. sometimes im scared driving my solara under nasty conditions because i know that my car will lose control...Dam you toyota why didnt you make abs standard on my car. ( felt like writting and tell you the importants in abs)

Eh. ABS is junk. Hate it. No ABS on anything I own. Couldn't get the truck without it, so I had to bypass it. Talk about a pain in the neck. I don't understand why it's being forced down our throats. It's like the vehicle companies are assuming that everyone is a poor driver.

I watched a top gear a long time ago where they compared panic stopping distance, and a skilled driver was able to brake better without ABS, whilst an average driver did better with ABS turned on. Based on this I think ABS is just another anti-darwinistic invention.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

You have a 4 cylinder, which is lighter than a V6.
I have a V6 wit a bad ABS module.

I can pull an ABS sensor for you "thenewguy" tomorrow, i got to pull 2 pairs of twin piston calipers.

any driver that drives in snow, should know how to get by without it. you just have to plan your stops further in advance, and dont wait until the last second and slam on the brakes

Yeah and hope that the mofo that can't drive is going to do that when they come to the stop sign at the intersection you are crossing, or some >>I'm a douche<< like that. Just because you plan your stopping distance to be longer doesn't mean other people do. If you have to get on the brakes suddenly in the snow and ice you had better have ABS. There is no way to predict what another car on the road might do. Just sayin'.
