replace struts? springs?

how do you know when to change your struts/springs? i keep hearing a scraping noise when i drive over dips. i think my wheels are actually rubbing the inside of the fender well as i'm driving!

are my struts or springs bad? i did notice that the gap between the wheel and the fender well was pretty close--more so than usual.

i have Tein springs on Tokiko struts. i put them on about 70,000 miles ago.

If anything, it would be the struts. However, double check to make sure it's the front or rear that scrubbing. If it's just the front, taking a heat gun to the fender liner trim and pushing it up may help give you more clearance.

^^Change your struts. Also check your front tires and see if there cupped. Thats an indicator that your struts are junk.
