99 SLE Climate Control help needed

Postby robbievelasco » Wed Sep 16, 2009 4:53 pm

Hi Guys,

I have to replace my Climate Control in my 99 SLE and was wondering if the part numbers had to be the same with my stock unit. My climate control has 55900-33220 12V 2U on it and I found a great deal on a climate control on ebay for $32 but it has a different product #55900-33670 12V 10. Will this still work? I added the link for the ebay product:

Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!

thats off of an 02... i dont this will fit, i dont think anyone ever found a way to make the digital a/c unit work on our manual control harness. Im going to say their add is wrong and it wont fit an 00 or 01 but wait for confirmation from another member.

In response to the above:

I don't have a manual climate control. I also have a digital/auto climate control. The plugs on the back of them both look the same so I think I can just plug it in but I just want to get that confirmed by someone before I buy it.

Thanks!

for that price i'd take the chance, as long as the ebay seller has lots of good feedback. worst case scenario you resell it on ebay!
