where is the fuse to the tails located and what do I check for?

I had installed new aftermarket bright bulbs, could it be that they take too much power or something.....causing the fuse to blow out.

I noticed my parking lights dont work either

There should be a coin thingy near the steerin' wheel.
Pull that out, and there's a diagram on the back.

I put in a 30A to replace the 10A tail fuse shown on the diagram sticker from the coin holder. Smoke and a burning smell started to fill up the inside of my car. I though my car was going to light on fire.

Maybe I have a short somewhere, I dont know.........my headlights/fogs work fine but the parking and tails wont work. All turn signals and hazards work.

I took out these aftermarket blue super white bulbs and put back my original stock taillight bulbs. I was assuming those bulbs took up too much power.

I have no idea as to why my tails wont go on. It keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse.

its not the fuses if it keeps blowing the same fuse, and don't try and put a different amperage fuse in. thats bad. how new are your bulbs?

never replace a fuse with a higher amp one. The wires are only designed to carry a certain amount safely

Well I took my car to the mechanic and they said the front left parking light socket was bad. They said something about the terminals/two wires touching. They said if the problem happens again then I would have to replace the socket. Im confused on which socket they mean....... not sure if this is the car or the aftermarket headlights were faulted.

My car has the Black Diamond aftermarket head/corner lights

lol, your JDM parts didn't jive well with our domestically made cars.

sounds like you melted your own sockets by installing a bigger fuse with stronger bulbs.

this is why you do not overload a circuit by taking out the safety (the fuse, which you basically made useless by installing a 30A instead of the appropriate 10A)

stick to OEM amperage bulbs, and buy yourself a new socket.

if you're lucky, you just fried your sockets, instead of frying all your wiring.

btw, i was joking about the headlights, i'm pretty sure the issue is with the bigger bulbs and the bigger amp fuse.
