Lower Front Brace?

mine is 14" exactly. But this isn't a good measurement for ground clearance. We need to know how high you are off the ground to know whether this is a good mod for your car.

When I get my car, I'll check and let you know.

Thanks

I have the bar on my 99 camry le v6 lowered with eibachs on Tokicos. The bar def. made a noticeable difference but ground clearance is a slight issue at times. I actually was pushing it through some backroads a few weeks back and after the road straightened out there was a section where they were doing construction and a slight dip which caused me to scrape it bad. But it's still holding up. However, I may have to remove it at some point to repaint it. Where it has scraped there are some rust spots. I've had it on since about April or May I'd say.

Don't do it if you're slammed, I kinda regret putting it on my car. If you only have a mild drop go for it.

My car is lowered only 1" or so, but I don't think I'm going to get the front bar. You still have to deal with car washes...lifts...road conditions..etc.
May get the rears though.

Is it possible to grind down the lip where it bolts to the chassis?

Definitely possible. I'm just too lazy to pull it off, get that done, strip off the white "coating" and zinc coat it.

Ya, at some point it's coming back off and I'm gonna do what Krispy said. Recoat it with something that's less prone to corrosion. But I still like the bar and noticed a significant difference with it installed.
