Actually, I'm pretty sure there is more than one way to learn and sometimes it DOESN'T involve f**king it up.

hey after some research people do have there cars done with a roller ,but it takes alot of sanding, and then buffing they do have the technology to paint with air, but if you want to go back to the model A days of automotive technology, that is the way Henry Phord did it,he always said" you can have a car in any color as long as it is black",so think along those lines ,and more power to ya :drinking:

there are always doubters out there so dont trip... if you mess up your out 50 bucks and about 15 hours of bodywork with a sander.... and considering this is a hobby to you, that doenst sound like a lot of time..

have fun and take lots of pictures, if it works people will hate and say your lucky and blah blah, if it doesnt same haters will say.. i told you so.. its a catch 22.. just do what u want, its your car....

Sort of interested to see how this turns out. Keep us posted. Have an old '94 Celica that I am getting pretty streetable on a budget. Sort of one of those deals where all the money is going into parts not paint, have actually been considering this kinda deal myself.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.
