I did it for my 500$ crx, but would never think about it for my solara :drinking:

i wanted to use a gun...but im low on cash and dont have a paint booth. i have been using the car to just get from A to B with a pretty decent sound system that i installed myself ( does not look professional at all )

one of my close friends is really into cars so its rubbing off on me and now i want to fix mines up.

so far all the body work is done now i just have to wait for the paint....fedex tracking said it will be here on friday.

my plans are to paint it...then lower it with ksport coilovers...which model fits on a gen1 1999 v6

All that work and your gona fuk it up with $6 rollers from walmart.
Im not tryin to be an a$$ but why would you do that???
You or whoever spent all that time and money on the bodywork so why would you cheap out on the paint???

You should be able to even rent a decent gun.
Then use a friends garage for about 12-16 hrs and youll have a much much better turn-out.
Please reconsider this!!!

Frank say something dammit!

well i had a earl scheib paint job before and it was super duper orange peely...... my and some friends sanded the car down for days with 2000 grit sandpaper and it came out really good...so basically i know that with the roller it will come out pretty bad but after sanding and sanding it should come out pretty well. is there a solara scene??? or meetups and stuff like that???

Yes you can paint it with a roller and after a lot of sanding and re-coats it will actually look good and last

If you do all the prep yourself and then have it painted by M**co you will have a good paint job with a lot less work.

that sould be better than any thing you could do with a damn roller even if it is a crappy gun from harbor freight. My friends would never help me sand my car so you are lucky to have good friends.
