The above kit is for an IS300, will this kit actually work with our cars? Anybody know??

won't fit. besides - they even state in the ad that the rear rotors are just slotted OE size rotors. no real benefit to that besides looks. i bet someone out there makes slotted rear rotors for us too. you could make this kit yourself and it WOULD fit - get some supra rotors, ericsol brackets, hawk pads for your stock calipers, and a set of ss lines, and you're good. and i bet it'll be cheaper than that kit.

Interesting points made...

I can see how the one piece bracket would probably save some weight as well.... however, the Ericsol brackets have been tried and trued.... 3 yrs and going on my setup.

As for 4 pot, or maybe even 6 pot calipers.... I have done some research, but due to lack of funds (yeah, money's tighter than a thong up a fat woman's a$$) I haven't even looked deeply into it, I have however narrowed down a few choices that may work, but, I'm still lost a bit, because the offset of the caliper could be outside optimal parameters.... but here is my info so far:

On page 9 you see a Radial to Lug mount bracket, the mount center is about right for our application, on page 43 you see a Lug mounted option that should work, the lug spacing is about right for the Camry/ Solara... how ever I don't know if it will clear the Rotor's tops surface with the Ericsol bracket.

Go to page 87 here, you will see a bracket used for 4 and 6 pot Radial mount calipers, not like our calipers which are Lug mounted. On page 91 you see a Lug mounted setup with 4 pot caliper.... now, could we fit one to an existing Ericsol bracket? <- that's been buggin' me for a while.

Any ideas?

I looked into wilwood because they have been proven to be lightweight, and durable... some people call them crap, most love them. But I believe that you can do the same with Brembo calipers....

They have a kit for the Toyota matrix 6 piston. While I'm sure the rotor hat is wrong for our cars the Matrix is 5 x 100
That caliper bracket sure does look interesting.

that's cool alltrac..

the only real reason behind holding offon my research, was that I wanted to get some of these pieces in my hands, and test fit, figure out what clearance issues would surface. Rim clearance, caliper offset from hub... etc, etc....

So.... blah!... It would be cool if Dawgs chimed in on the 350z brembo's though.... I also checked on the Mistu Evo's brembo, and the Subaru STI's... I think they fit the Lug pattern of our cars as well.

In the Netherlands, were i live, there are no Lexus es300.
So i hope to find a other replacement that fits to.

Will a land cruiser caliper fit? (http://www.schadeautos.nl/auto.php?id=335233)
It looks it has also a 2 cylinder setup.
