I think everyone has valid points however lets not get this topic into who knows more of what.

I think all SG members know there place, and are able to comment without being judged on who knows more of what.

I don't track my car however I know allot about suspension and wheel fitment due to my experience in playing around with it. You dont need to go to the track to know if you suspension is set-up correctly. You can do that by road testing and using other equipment to test and your experience of how your car has handled in diff. situations.

well all i can say is that when you see a nacar event, or road course event they have practice sessions, and they set the car up during that time, and during the race itself, as track conditions change, heat, cold, rough surfaces, smooth surfaces, even cloud cover changes how a car performs, so trying to get a good setup is very tricky, and although were not nascar or indy, ive changed alot of componets, my car has been different everytime ive gone to the track due to new mods ive done to it, but taking it to the track is the best way to setup a car, you can push it to its limits and not worry about hurting your car or anyones elses....................... :drinking:

I agree... we aren't nascar so the avg. person would tune to the roads and area they drive in everyday...

the PERFECT set-up is impossible. You can only tune to a specific point and be satisfied. The results Gabe and others have gotten over the years are far greater then what some SG members have been able to complish. But dont forget not everyone here is to race or track there cars.

But back on topic... who made your spacers for you Gabe??

I may have a set of ppls interested in lug conversion spacers. I still browse the xB forums allot and allot of them have used lug conversion spacers to fit some extreme and agreesive wheels.

Open minds people. Variety is the spice of life.

More power to you Gabe for stepping out of the box. Please post pictures of the car when everything is prepped.
