Solara Hood Visor

Solara Hood Visor

Postby indiglosolara » Fri Aug 14, 2009 12:03 am

So I purchased the Hood Visors a while back and had them painted. I bought the clear ones so I can get the painted and color matched easier.

I have one Smoked and one Painted the color of the car.
Which one do you think looks better. I am leaning towards the painted one that is color matched. But I also like the smoked one.

What are your thoughts.
here are some pics when I test mounted them. They are not mounted perfectly so dont mind the gaps.

Painted to match the car

I kinda liek the painted one.

For the smoke one, everyone knows u can get it and pop it on. The painted one means u went the extra way and got it to look even better. I like the painted.

I like the painted one because it seems less of an add on,
and your car's color is beautiful. It sort of matches the
stuff you have on the bottom of the car (forgive me guys
but I forget what you call that "stuff.") For the same reason,
I like body colored splash guards because they seem more
of an extension of the car than an add on. Nonetheless, it
would probably look good either way. Jimmm

I like the painted mostly cause of the same reason as everyone else. The smoked looks more of a tacky add-on but looks great on TLMNICK's car because it's a black car so the smoke blends in the same. With the painted you can even put a nice subtle TRD sticker on the side. grey or black?
are avalons supposed to be this fast?

Your car is awesome. That color is really nice too. I voted for smoke just because it gives it a slightly contrasting look. I like the painted one too but the smoked just stands out a little more. Did you do the headlights yourself?
