Should've used Duplicolor Dpe103 Paint Professional Enamel Gloss Black , resists chipping

Nice work overall though! I really like it. Are you planning to do something about the top of the grill to make it follow the hood line more? May I suggest something similar to the rubber that's part of the hood for that factory look?

thanks Guys :)! Headlights are already blacked out, just dirty. Yeah, the bottom piece is part of the grill itself, I just cut out the center bars and the toyota logo, and put mesh where it was. The gap around the top of the hood was already there, for some reason the gen 1.5 grill has a curve in it. Thanks for the offer knightbird, but I love my mesh grill. GLWS tho :)
..and yeah, I clearcoated it. 3 coats of diamond hard clear coat, from rustoleum.

Not crazy about the 1.5 grill mesh look

im thinking about selling my chrome grill, you may want to buy that off me instead of having that mesh, will look 1000 times better

Unless I find something to fill-in the grooves I probably wont do it. It would look black like that to match my black headlights. Looks good bro. Keep up the good work!

If you plan on painting that area, I'm sure a little pre-mixed bondo would fill in those gaps.

That grill looks great! I may redo mine pretty soon, using bondo to fill in the holes.
