LOL!! Yeah the i ran out of black ones, But I have a better idea, Florist wire, it comes in black, and is basically as thick as the twist ties on bread packaging. That would be more sturdy, and almost completely unnoticeable. Glad you guys like it. before I painted it, it was silver and I thought it looked pretty good, but black matches the theme of my car, so yeah... here it is before paint.:

I've been thinking about doing this mod for the longest but I dont like that first layer of the grille which is needed for the tabs to hold onto the bumper. Unless I find something to fill-in the grooves I probably wont do it. It would look black like that to match my black headlights. Looks good bro. Keep up the good work!

oooOOooo now black out the headlights

btw, what is the bottom peice on the grill that looks like it's got a diamond cut in it, but it's clearly not mesh....?

i'm guessing it's used to secure the mesh...but i can't seem to figure out exactly what it is, or how you got/made it.

Chinky, I believe that's part of the Gen 1.5 grill (which I guess doesn't come off as I hoped it would...)

Nice work overall though! I really like it. Are you planning to do something about the top of the grill to make it follow the hood line more? May I suggest something similar to the rubber that's part of the hood for that factory look?

u should have bought plexi glass, spray paint it black or tint it black then bend the plexi to the grill.

Not crazy about the 1.5 grill mesh look

im thinking about selling my chrome grill, you may want to buy that off me instead of having that mesh, will look 1000 times better
