Vacume Hose Location?! (HELP)

Vacume Hose Location?! (HELP)

Postby ArizonaEagle07 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 2:56 pm

So I have finally put back together my engine. I tore her all the way down to the knock sensors. Replaced all TB, Valve Cover, Intake Manifold/Plenum gaskets. Installed a high flow fuel upgrade. She is all put back together but I have two hoses that I have know idea where they belong!

The first one is located on my Injen SRI. It's the 2nd Hose on the Left very long & narrow. The second one is coming from the charcoal canister along the leading right edge of the Right Valve Cover it has a small black plastic end piece.

Nothing visually sticks out in the engine bay where they could or should go. If anyone has any diagrams or pictures with of there V6 Engine with the engine cover off that would be very helpful. If need be I cant post a picture of the two hoses. Thanks again!

There should be a sticker on the underside of the hood that has a vacuum routing diagram on it. That ought to show you what you need to know.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

Thanks! I have forgotten about that since I did take off my hood. There are two vertical 1 inch very small pipes off the intake manifold on the right. I just want to verify no hoses go on that?! Thanks again for the help!

Well, thanks, I don't really call it that though. It's more of a "Imapoorstudentcheapmod." :D
