Wow! Is that a polished aluminum engine cover for the 1MZFE? Yes it is!
Anyone interested in purchasing one, let me know. I make them to order.

Thanks Lee. If you want a cover for your car I can make one for you.
The front bumper is sanded right now because it was all rashed and nasty looking. I haven't had time to get a new buffer to work on it with and the old one broke. I'll work on it soon.

The engine cover looks nice. You should engrave the letters TRD on it. 8)

^Oh, ok.
I thought maybe you had it painted flat black or something.
As for the engine cover, Im not doing any mods right now till Oct.
Im going through a custody battle with my ex-wife. (im sueing the sh!t outta her for mistreating my daughter)

If I did get one later, it would be red with the TRD Logo or the SolaraGuy Logo. Ill keep you in mind though.

Thanks Cosmic, I've actually considered doing exactly that, I just don't want to advertise for TRD if I'm not supercharged, but I would totally do that if someone wanted it.

And Lee, court time sucks, good luck with everything. Also I could totally do the TRD or SolaraGuy logos for you or anybody that wants it, any number, anytime. So yeah, DEFINITELY keep me in mind. :D

Tex, I was going to ask $80 each. There was a post a while back and it seems fair. As for engraving, I don't know yet but I'm sure we could figure something out.

looks like somebody needs some coolant, but maybe it's just the pics.
Nice work so far, good to see someone is willing to put in their own time to work on their car. So what's next, some new springs maybe?

^Hey man, thanks for noticing. It does indeed need a top off. You're probably right about the springs too. :D

Lets put it this way: She has an open investigation with CPS (child Protective Services) 2 counts of family violence and 3 counts of a dirty house.

CPS removed her from my ex-wife and placed my daughter with me. :D
I have a $300/hr Lawyer and she has legal aide. :D

I have my first court day Aug 11th.

......but back on topic
Instead on engraving, could you stamp the letters where they rise up off the cover a little. The cover would be gloss black w/red letters. 8)

Looks like my car! Anyways you should remove the pinstripe and de-badge it also. Makes a huge difference. Lookin' real good though. Black Sand FTMFW. I noticed u also have the Sylvania turn bulbs in urs too. I always thought they were a nice touch. Oh, and the muffler n tip look real good BTW. Clean and classy. Way to go! Ur not too far away from me either... I didn't realize that.

Thanks BLACK V6, I was actually using your car as inspiration lol. I would love to debadge and de-pinstripe. I will eventually I'm sure. And yeah believe it or not the Silverstars were the very first mod I did.
