I just got my hands on a 99 Solara v6 5 speed. I have plans with this car, i was wondering will 19X8.5's fit with a tein drop? or if i could do 19X8.5 front and 19X9.5 rear.. any rubbing issues? and if so.. will rolling my fenders help? btw its a 1.7 front drop and 1.4 rear

It wont fit without modification. The consensus for the most part is 18x7 or 7.5 Some members went 18x8 but again modifications such as fender rolling/shaving need to be done. If you want that staggered look, you could go 18x8.5 (with fender rolling on rear) and 18x7 or 7.5 in the front. Considering you're dropped its still going to give a clean look. If you go to 19" you'll have to decrease the width. Check this out for other options:

Hey thanks a bunch that was really helpful.. but im also confused.. on this link ----> http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=36986 on the 3rd page there are 2 members solaras thats got me thinking why?? TOYODRIVER01 has the black solara 19X7.5 all around with tein/kyb suspension and right below that woa_its_j3ff has the reddish solara with 18X7.5 all around with tein/tokico setup with spacers.. Why does the car with 18's look slammed ( which is what want) compared to the ride with 19s that sits higher... :-?

The suspension setup (different struts) probably makes a different drop. I'd suggest you install struts if you already have the Teins installed to see how much you drop. Thereafter pick out rims. I'd recommend 18" if you want the staggered look (seems like thats what you want).
