Its a great idea but wouldnt the light from the fog projector totally block out the light from the leds and make it appear that the led strip is not even there? I really like the idea but I just know those fog projectors are no joke when it comes to light output.

Thats the wonderfull thing about projectors though, the light emitted is directly on the road, it doesnt fill up the housing itself. So when you look at it from the front, you will see the circular projector lense totally yellow/amber as well as the LED's.

Im working on one of the housings right now, the led strip is curing with paint and adhesive (jbweld) on the housing....... 8)

Thats cool then. Then by all means go for it. I wanna see the results. I wish i could do that to my fogs but i have a gen 1.5 and that means small fog housings.

the fog light itself has its own harness i made to connect to the one already existing harness for the oem fog light. It still draws 55watts.

You can find led strips on every other car even here in Kazakhstan. I'm not saying it looks bad, you really need to see how it does on your particular car. If you like it, go for it.

if it gets to a point here where i can spot more than 5 cars (not being an audi) that have led strips, i will take these off.
