so i finished up my tails this morning, i totally screwed up the left side because i thought i could buff out the orange peel, but i ended up burning thru the clear coat and paint on some parts lol. oh well im too lazy to re-do it so i guess it'll have to do for now. hope ya like it

Well good first attempt I guess. Next time take more time with the finish work, at least the passenger side looks alright.

yeah, i really didn't know what i was doing at first. i thought you just have to sand the clear coat lightly then buff. i learned from my mistake which is why the passenger side is much better.

Should have had LATIN do it. haha but looks good man. great first attempt. I wouldn't have been able to do it even close to that on my own.

Good try... NOW do you see how hard and time consuming it really is..?

just take it all off with paint thinner.. do light very light coats, lightly wet and in the sink or bath tub, the let dry, and on to the next coat until you get the desired shade level ,Then clear coat 3- 4 times.
ALL*TRD*...Revos,FSTB,RSB,Muffler+FSB.

lol having 5% tints all around dont help either, im in the 925 area antioch to be exact

i was a little intimidated at first because im not that DIY type of dude, but i would say this mod isn't as hard as i thought it would be, just have to take the time to mask and prep everything

LOL, latin if you think they are good, im happy :D. no but really i would have a bought a set from you if i had the money. removing the paint is gonna be a bitch! ahh welll..we learn from our mistakes.

lemme know if you decide to re do them..i ll walk you thru the process.. its not THAT hard. just time consuming..expect and 8 hr turn around.
