Graphite Gray Pearl Gen 4 Camry

Graphite Gray Pearl Gen 4 Camry

Postby aenties » Fri Jul 24, 2009 4:59 pm

Finally got my car painted to the lancer evolution's graphite gray pearl. It turned out lighter then I expected however I'm 100% satisfied with it. The paint is actually very dark gray during daylight but turns purplish during night time (its PIMP haha). Only the exterior was painted, door jams, engine bay and trunk is still the stock color. The car was painted at MAACO on Reavis Barracks (in STL). My friend told me this was the top of the line paint job, the cost without hookup was around $1500 and I paid much less. And this truly looks like their top of the line because the paint is very smooth, hopefully you can see it in the pictures.

This was the day after I picked it up so no wash or photo editing. I can only hand wash with very light soap for a month, no waxing or anything so I'll update when I wash it.

Enjoy!

They wanted $75 for each door because of the labor to remove the door (3 screws and the wiring harness lol). I'll probably end up buying this color in spray can and covering up everything then painting the jams.

I made sure with the guy who hooked me up that this was going to last for at least 4-5 years because I'll most likely end up selling it. I also have warranty through him and see him on the weekends a lot so everything should be good in the end.

As for the paint, everything looks real good. They actually removed the bumper and some other stuff to get the paint through everything so :).

Thanks everybody for the comments, I'll update with some better pics soon.
