Am I the only person whose CEL comes on after each fill up?

I searched and it seems that way. Ive ever owned a car made after '97 so maybe there's a new fangled way to fill up a tank that I don't know about. I went to my mechanic the first time the CEL light went on and he told me to turn my car off before I put in gas. I didn't think anyone filled up with their engine on so after the CEL was off I drove off. I went to fill up my tank today and when I drove a mile away it came back on. I searched on here and from what I've read with people having the same problem it is bad gas or a cap that's not tight enough. I truthfully don't think it's either of these problems but I maybe wrong. If anyone has any insight would be great.

i don't think it's necessarily bad.. maybe just not tightened enough. My CEL used to come on when I clicked it only once or twice. Now I click it 3-4 times and everything's cool.

I was wrong, I was driving down I-95 today and the light went back on so i swung by autozone and got these two codes

P1155 A/F Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank #2 Sensor #1)

and

P1150 A/F Sensor Circuit Range / Performance Malfunction (Bank #2 Sensor #1)

Sorry, I can get what it says but I have no idea what it means. Can someone help me out here?

Sorry man, you have a bad O2 sensor. Just replace it and your golden. Bank 2 sensor 1 should be the one you can see when you open the hood. Easy to replace, not real cheap though.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

make sure to find out whether you're cali spec or federal spec

cali spec uses a/f meters
fed spec uses oxygen sensors

the a/f meter is much more expensive, while the oxygen sensor is only about 60 bucks.

don't buy bosch, buy denso

and from the looks of the code, i would guess it's a cali spec car (a/f meter)...but you should find out for yourself...i believe you can find out by looking at the sticker on the underside of your hood....where it has the picture for the engine belts.

someone should correct me if this is not where to find out if the car is federal/cali spec.
