This was my beam pattern with 8000k headlights and fogs
Yes this blinded the shi.t out of people.
Not much you can do. Aiming helps some, but it still throws glare like a mother.

Well, for one, I'm not a huge fan of eyelids, and two, they have to be enormous.

^Good thought. But I don't wanna tint my corners and I don't think it would look good with just the headlights tinted. I'll ponder it.

it would be intersting to know the optimal hight of the center of the beam from the ground when facing a wall up close. it should be lower than the height of the headlights

hmmm... i dont think you should lower it more than that... i don't have as much glare as you do, but i think its becasue mine are higher.

here's what i did:
i parked very close to a brick wall and aimed the center of the beam to be a bit lower than the height of the headlight. it you do that, you should be ok. you should see all the stop signs and posts light up from a distance.. i didnt notice that in your clip, maybe you went too low

That's actually better output than I had with my original setup with HIDs. My output was complete garbage which promted me to do the retrofit. You can't get any better than that!
