Paint question about the 2002 Solara

Postby ed515 » Fri Jul 10, 2009 12:06 pm

Hello,

Does anybody here know if the 2002 Solaras (4 cylinders) doors are painted on the inside? I am asking because I just bought an 02 Solara for very little with very little miles but the title is previously salvaged due to water damage (it barely went over the brake paddle). There are no problems with he engine since I had it inspected (no rust). I really don't want to tear the plastics down to check manually of that's not necessary.

Thank You for your time.

wow. thank you for the quick reply. as to your statement. the mechanic did not find any rust on components such as wiring, ecu or other important parts of the car. the water rose (from what we can tell by water marks) only to about the upper area of the transmission. only parts I have to sand a prime are the gas and break pedals from I can tell so far.

thanks,

Ed
