How to adjust clutch pedal height/friction point?

I just installed a new clutch, but the mech who installed didnt realy know what he was doing so now when the clutch pedal is released, it makes a kind of whisteling sound... if i put my foot very lightely on the pedal, i feel it vibrate.

But as soon as i press on the pedal, less than 1cm, the noise goes away and the depal stops vibrating.

is there a way to reduce the height of the pedal so that it stays slightly pressed?
