Every other oil change it gets a drain/fill. I change oil (full synthetic) every 6-7k miles since its still nice and clean cause of all the highway only miles it sees. If that calculates out, Its 14 or 21k miles and the ATF is fully changed out :D

Every 15k (every 3rd oil change). I just use the stuff from Toyota. Always just a drain and fill.

I am also doing about 15K, but running Amsoil ATF. I'll never go back to Toyota Type IV.

I take my 99 to Toyota every 45K and have a power flush so I get all new fluid at each change. I also take my wife's Lexus to Toyota for the flush and other engine work because of the same engine. The Lexus dealer is about 40 miles away and Toyota is 2 miles (as the crow flies).
Without ammunition, the USAF would be just another very expensive flying club.

HEY guys did you know that the tranny fluid well is seperate from the diff well.

It's true, thery are connected, but they are very poorly connected.

I found this out a while back when I had to change a CV. I poped it out and brown ATF came out. I did some research and was a little surprised.

It's awsome yuo guys are keeping good care of your rides just make sure you don't forget the diff has about 2qts of ATF in it too.

PS FYI you might need a loung thin tube to fill it back up.

I use Amsoil ATF drain and fill every 15kand a full flush at 45k. Being s/c'ed you are much harder on the trans that you think.
Greg's Silverlicious only had 5-10k on the trans but had a heavy build up in the pan.
I pay $160 for a full flush including the diff. I'm now looking a a $4k bill for a new trans..... $160 seems like nothing in comparison.

I thought of that but Greg said he dyno'ed at 320 fwhp. (?)
I really don't know if I could keep the tires from spinning with the front wheel drive. And I drive a manual ALLLLL day long at UPS, by then I'm too tired (or lazy). I'll probably go with IPT, but I've heard good thing about Level10 and they are a little less expensive.
I use synthetics in all of my vehicles or some level of them. I plan on keeping it around for a while so it's really not that much more.

True, was the build up after u looked at the magnets? Did u check the strainer/filter in the trans (right above the trans pan after u take it off)...

Level10 does good work, a few buddies of mine out here w/A/T MKIV Supras have had their valve bodies/torque converters/clutch packs done up by them and are very happy with the product.
