yeah these directions are pretty intense. I was toying around with the kit yesterday and it seemed everything just plugged right in. It says on the directions "drill a small hole in the removed cover". :-? How long did the whole thing take you?

I just checked my status this morning and it says "Clearance Delay" in the Los Angeles Gateway,CA at 2:19 am. 6/11

And the time before that it said "Processing for clearance" in the Los Angeles Gateway, CA at 11:57 pm on 6/10

That sucks. So there is a delay :(

my install took me about 10-15 minutes or so
it included me screwing down the balasts and taping the connectors and organizing cables

Took me a good 20 mins once i figured out wtf to do... i used very strong double stick tape for my ballasts... i wasn't gonna drill any holes in the body... the tape will work fine (ive seen it done before)... our headlights don't have a cover to drill a hole ion but alot of other cars do if you google installing vvme hid's but yeah we don't need to worry about that

I was just informed that my HID package is either going to be destroyed or sent back to shipper because as of yesterday 6/11/09 the (DOT) Department of Transportation has informed the DHL people that HID kits are illegal and will not be shipped to the US they will be confiscated.

So in short terms. Im not getting my kit and how s h i tty is that this happens when I finally happen to order mine.
