spark plugs

Postby kpxboi0619 » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:29 pm

Before I start writing all the stuffs, I've searched the forum for the info but couldn't find it.

my Lara almost reached 60k and I'm planning to change the spark plugs, I was gonnna buy it myself and take it to local body shop to change it., but then How many spark plugs do I need????

¿cuántos?

I've read some articles online and magazines and I was thinking of changing it to...

Iridium becase i read that they have the 1) highest melting point 2)159Kpsi strength (platinum: 20Kpsi) 3) 2.09 Electrical resistance 4) 240 hardness (platinum: 40) 5) requires least voltage :)

probably NGK for brand.......but seriously... how many??? :(

depends on the engine and number of cylinders..

rule of thumb is one spark plug per cyliinder.

Your car 4-cylinder or 6? And get the factory spark plugs. I believe ours are platinum plugs. Denso or NGK will do.
