Alright... so i see a few of you have the mud flaps on... some of you have them off. How easy is it to get them off? And is it gonna be way noticeable if i remove them... like paint color difference, fade difference, holes, etc...? also looking for opinions on which looks better, on or off. thnx

1) Very easy to get them off
2) Keep them on if you don't have the lip kit
3) I just removed them last month and after a good wash, its not noticeable at all. (No paint difference etc...)

If you dont have a lip kit, and you remove them, your car will seem even higher off the ground.

This may make me look like an idiot but my cousin's dog decided to chew my driver rear mud flap. How easy is it to find a replacement? And what prices seem right?

I just removed my mud flaps and it looks much better. And no I don't have a lip kit. The only issue I had was that one of the mudflaps rubbed and there is a slight impression where the edge of it was. Other than that, no issues. It's easy enough to remove so if you take them off and you don't like it you can always put them back on. I think that there were 4 screws per wheel. 3 on the inside of the wheel well and 1 underneath.

EDIT - Forgot to mention that I am lowered.

MUD FLAPS ARE FOR TRUCKS! These are, more appropriately, named Splash Guards. After all, they don't flap. I like mine. They do the job for which they were designed, and that is to keep the road splashes down to a minimum. Of course, I have to keep the splash guards clean also. An addict's work is never done. By the way, mine didn't come with them, so I had to search for them. I bought a black set from TRDparts4u in Dallas because they didn't have my color. About a week later I found my color on eBay brand new and for a quarter of the price I paid for the black ones. So now I have a set of black ones to sell. Jimmm

a) yes it WILL look higher off the ground, but who wants SPLASH guards anyways ;).
b) I had marks where mine rubbed the paint, but who cares - still looks better, with rubbing compound and a little effort, the marks can be minimized.
c) it shouldnt take longer than 10 min to take all 4 off

Jim is correct. The correct term is "splash guards"....in any case, I prefer to have them on (without a kit). Actually even with the kit I miss them. They do a very good job of keeping dust, and small spashes off the paint.

Those splash guards are for truck or older car Nick, they look dum to me, without it the Solara gen1 look cool and more power eventhough it is a little higher from the ground, i admit that gen1 to 1.5 Solara is too high, but it is good for us Canadien, we can run over any snow hill like a snowplow, no fear no worry :)

Did you get lipkit for your car Nick ? look alot better on Convertible, but how come i never saw you on the road ? :) hehe i rarely see Toronto people drives Solara except those 2004+

PS: i like your car Nick
