It's technically rated to last 5-6 years when applied to the exteriors of cars. I haven't had any problems with my vinyl on my own personal cars, even when parked outside in the sun year round. I do live in socal though. I figure at worse, you'd still be able to get 4-5 years out of it.

how much for the roof and hood of a 97 camry

cant give an est on amount of vinyl needed but im sure u can figure for a 4door sedan...
