*HELP* Advice plz.. 8000k or 12000k HID's? Which looks best?

Alright, i have some nice Jet Yellow 2500k Nokya fog bulbs on their way... Now i just am stuck... which will look better. HIDs in 8000k (ice blue) or 12000k (light purple)???? Input is MUCH appreciated!

12000K if you want to increase your chances of crashing and getting pulled over

I wouldnt go over 6000k for headlights, you will lose a lot of your light output for a "rice" purple glare. Especially since you dont have projectors. Just my honest opinion.

i know very little about my car... just got it a few days ago. had a couple different people tell me that i have projections.... which i didn't believe. so ya. just dumb, not high

You have REFLECTORS, not projectors.

The headlights that are on a BMW are called projectors.

The headlights that come on Gen 1 and 1.5 Solaras, are NOT projectors, unless modified.

If you do not know much about cars, your BEST bet is to just read through the threads here, and read what is posted everyday, for a couple weeks, BEFORE you even begine to start buying parts. you'll learn a lot, and it will help you.

But for this questions,a s others said, stick to 4300k-6000k for headlight bulbs.

okay... ya i know more then that... im not dumb. but thats what i've been doing for the past couple weeks since i got the car. been reading up here alot lately. i'm looking at getting projector's, HID 6000k, tinted tails, a short ram intake... and probably an OBX 2.5 intake... other then that... no other mods. but i will admit that i am new to this car.

You have to custom make projector headlights. As of this moment, none are made for sale.

well first i think you mean obx exhaust .as far as for your lights i installed 6000k hids in my head lights and fogs and i love the cool blue look

the light output looks white but when you look at the headlight it has a blue hue i personally like being able to see well the higher up you go in ks the less light output you get

DO NOT GO ABOVE 6000K PLEASE! Yesterday while driving home at night, i saw a pair of purple 12000k headlights coming at me, laughing to myself I expected to see some ricer @$$ car with a fart can and a wing off a Antonov An-225 on the trunk , when to my complete surprise it was a 80's model lincoln towncar LIFTED on 24 in. rims! WTF????
