I have a Alarm!

So I just found out tonight that I have a alarm. I set it off somehow by accident, the previous owner never had the remote for it or anything. So im going to get a key fob off ebay.. but if it only has the lock and unlock.. will that work? or do I need a different one, im pretty sure its the factory alarm, im going to look in the am.

im looking at this one, because i need to get a new master key cut too

or this onehttp://cgi.ebay.ca/1999-2000-99-00-01-TOYOTA-CAMRY-SOLARA-KEYLESS-REMOTE_W0QQitemZ110392437083QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item19b3e6e95b&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1215|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50

Does that look like the right one?? Im getting a dealership to cut the key in the next couple weeks and they wanted like 50$ for the blank... so im just going to order one and get them to cut that. I have a friend that works there so I should be fine.

How come your post repeats itself so many times?

Anyway....how do you know its the stock alarm?.....was it just a "beep beep beep" noise from the stock horns?

What kind of alarm is he talking about ? is it like Camry that has an alarm to notice u "All Power Down" ??

Solara also has an option to open garage and auto anti glare/halo from those idiots pick-up truck that drive very close to ur butt.

Sorry for the repeats. Its fixed now.

It must be the stock alarm because I cant find anything aftermarket under the hood or under the dash on either side.

@Randy I have the garage option, whats the anti glare/halo that your talking about though? how does that work? I keep finding little options on this car that I didnt know it had, I love it.

If you didn't find anything, then it must be the stock system you have. Most Solaras (over here at least) have a stock alarm.

The anti-glare mirror he's talking about is actually an auto-dim mirror that automatically darkens the mirror surface in the night time when cars with bright lights drive behind you. It's meant to prevent those bright lights from blinding you.

I think it must be stock. It wasnt anything crazy loud and theres not any aftermarket shock sensors that I can find anywhere and the harness isnt molested anywhere.

Il have to take notice of the mirror, Is it just the rear view? or is it all of them?
