17's 0r 18's??
Well, I wanted to go with 18's....BUT...I want max performance as well. Anytime you INCREASE the weight of the wheel, you LOOSE performance (acceleration). 2-3 Lbs of UNSPRUNG weight (per wheel) is probably worth 100lbs of sprung weight total..that's a tenth or two. Not to mention the increase in INERTIA (to get the ball rolling). I know 18's look great, but I think I'm going to 17s. You also have the factor of ride quality/rim damage with lower profile on the 225/40 (18") vs 225/45 (17").
