"Toyota" badge

yeah I was kinda hesitant on just pullin it right off because didn't want the adhesive (which has been there since the car first stepped out into the sun) to rip off any paint. My car is black and I haven't noticed any paint damage whatsoever. Are you planning on removing all the badges? You can look up some of the other threads on debadging and emblem removal, but they'll all pretty much tell you the same thing.

btw I like having the toyota emblem on the trunk just not the word toyota

This needs clarification. There are two products out there with similar names:

Goo-Gone and Goof-Off

Goo-Gone is the aforementioned citrus based cleaner, and so far, with all of my uses, has NOT damaged any material.

Goof-Off, on the other hand, WILL leave you crying if you leave it on your car for too long.

Do a quick google search of "goo gone vs goof off" and see how many people mistake them for each other.

i have used a hair dryer to remove alot of emblems and to remove the sticky stuff i used wax and grease remover it wont harm the paint, and polish it and i was done, very easy, also i used a can openeror other prying tool wrapped in tape to keep from scratching the paint, take your time and do it on a warm day in the sun :D
