What parts are so dirty that you can't clean them ON the car? Are they cloudy? There is a product for making them clear again. Many brands make it and I see them in the parts stores all the time. I use Meguiar's PlastX cleaner. jimmm

it's not a big hassle....but you will have to remove the front bumper cover to remove the headlights....which btw is not hard to do

i think that's what you call it....

the reason for removal is that there are screws by the front quarter panels that you have to get to....and the only way to do it is by removal of the cover.....it took me about 30 min to remove everything....

but it took me about 1.5 to "open" the headlights. remove the orange plastic and close the headlights....

overall not hard project but just time consuming....plus solara looks pretty frikin cool without the bumper  :bang:

how did u remove the orange reflector and open the headlight?

To take the front bumper cover off you need to unscrew all of the screws under the car that attach it to the skid plate (like 6-7 screws) then you need to take of the screws that hold the front of the inner fender wall off so that you can get to the screws that hold the bumper to the quarter panel. Then there's like a screw or two in the engine compartment... not that hard.

The headlights are held together with a heat activated glue. Google the process for "baking headlights" to soften it up to seperate.

Ditto!

Also, if they got dirty from the inside and you're breaking the seal to clean them, what did you do to prevent them from having the same problem in the future?
