You're definitely off to a good start research-wise. With the wheels/tires, I'd say stick with a +45 offset unless you want to roll your rear fenders. Your bolt pattern is 5x114.3. For tires, you could go 225/45/18 or 225/40/18, either size would be within reasonable spec of the OEM rollers.

Anyways, welcome and enjoy your experience here on SolaraGuy.

I'm going to repeat one that makes a huge difference, and which everyone on this forum agrees. TRD Rear Sway Bar. You'll see positive reviews over and over throughout the years of posts.

Lots of information about the HID kit, and don't forget about typing in the promo code to get it for a better price.

^ Basically, 4300k-6000k is usually the range one wants to stay within for HID's. The higher over 6000K you go, the more blue the lights get, and the less light output they produce. I forget the bulb types. Someone will help out I'm sure. And for fogs, it seems to me like 8000k is popular. *edit* AND 3000K (yellow).

High/low H4 is usually xenon for low and hologen for high.there are two types of bixenon there is the less expencive verision witch is one bulb but with a telescoping action witch works as high and low then there is the true bixenon kit they have two bulbs on one insert total of 4 bulbs and they require 1 ballast for each.I personally have the telescoping kit in my lara and am happy with it. when i put the HID in my fogs is when i noticedthe big change the sun came out if ya know what i mean

High/low Bulb (aka -2 bulb)

However, if your car uses a 9004, 9007, H4 or H13 bulb, than you have two choices. First choice is to use a High/Low Bulb {our model {bulb}-2}. The bulbs comes with one primary Xenon bulb and one Halogen bulb. The Halogen bulb is used for your high beam only and is only used where the state requires a high beam to pass inspection. Nothing more.

Note: the High portion of the High/Low bulb is NOT used for high beam driving as it will never point straight ahead. Its just for passing inspection.

These bulbs come with 3-4 wires, 2 for each bulb. it maybe necessary to splice the Halogen wires so that you get power to the high beam. WARNING never splice your bulbs built a connection and splice that. Modifying your bulb will result in voiding your warranty with HIDFoglight.com and it may be exrtemly dangerous.

High/Low bulbs come in H4, H13, 9004, 9007. They are just not produced in any other bulb type.

These bulbs are usually only used in cars since they replace two existing bulbs. But we have had our authorized installers install these in various external housings as well.

BiXenon Bulbs ( aka -3 bulb)

If you need your high beam to work properly than you're last choice is to go with a BiXenon (our model {bulb-3}) which gives you both High and Low in Xenon. This high beam will work correctly and will point where you tell it to. BiXenon bulbs usually come with 3 wires per bulb. They also come with a control unit that handles the low vs high beam. The bulb is actually blocked so that the beam is directed down while in low-mode. When the car's electronics are engaged and the high beam is selected a magnet moves the bulb so that it is no longer blocked and you get "high" beam.

The BiXenon bulbs, as per the High/Low bulb are only available in: H4, H13, 9004 and 9007 bulb types. As you can see to the right, the base of the bulb is longer by about an inch. Please make sure you have the clerance. Also note that the bulb contains a small magnet keep it away from other electronics before installing.
