That's cheap! Maybe I could shop around. My bf had one of his cars quoted at I think $300-400 at Ziebert. If it becomes a bigger job than we can handle, I'll definitely shop around for someone to do it.

I'm thinking they have a very similar curve is that of the Camry, and the Camrys have that really nice manual sunshade. I was thinking you could use those dorky baby seat hooks in the rear and have a sunshade like the Camrys have. I used to drive around with mine on all summer and never noticed a different in view.

Looking at these windows, I don't think they're going to be very fun to tint! I had a hard time cutting the right pattern for my Celica's rear windows, and these windows are about the same shape. Oh well, for the price its worth us trying first before letting a pro go at it.

Whats the sunshade your talking about? is it over the back window or the sunroof? I hate the carseat hooks, I have 3 of the stupid things. I cant really remove them because then I will have holes.

The windows are a pain to tint, im taking them to a friend whos a pro and hes doing them lol. I dont want to spend the time.

The Camrys have a cool built in sunshade that is permenent in the rear window, and you pull it up and hook it in the roof to cover the window. The shade was located basically where the babyseat clips were. The shade is kind of a darker mesh but you can see through it. I'm not sure how many rays it blocked, but it was nice to have while parked because otherwise I'd throw a spare sunshade in the rear to keep the car cooler (my car was black on black). I was thinking you can take the dumb babyseat clips and convert them into a similar system on the solara. I just might try to create something soon here!
