Long crank after engine warmed up...

Long crank after engine warmed up...

Postby scdsolara619 » Wed Apr 29, 2009 7:38 am

Hi,

Recently I've noticed that after I drive the car, shut it off and come back a few minutes later it has developed a very long crank. It used to only crank about 1-1.5 seconds before, now it cranks sometimes more that 3 seconds. But I only notice it when the engine has been completely warmed up. Any suggestions?
I was thinking the fuel pump is getting weak, I've got 95k miles on her & Jim's fuel mod.
Thanks for any input.

did you try cleaning your throttle body? You can clean it and your start will be cleaner.
