I'd call ahead and see if they have a core already finished and ready to ship. I took their display 1MZ TB that was already powdercoated, but shipped them back my stock one afterwards.

isnt it much easier to find a machine shop locally that can boar your TB much cheaper than paying almost 200 bucks

^It's one thing to just take it to some shop and bore it out. Machinists should also be aware of the tolerances of the metal, as well as be skilled enough to be fashioning a new throttle plate to match the new center bore that won't stick and engage as smoothly as OEM. Likely, unless they're experienced with 1MZ TBs, you'll spend at least that $200, if not more.

Midias is one of the other that immediately comes to mind, there are a few others as well. I think most are just skeptical to do it with their stock core, as they'd have to deal with the downtime/shipping to send it out and get it back/installed.

For the meantime you could go for the 3 out of 3 rating. Seems like they recommend you go for it. I personally dont have one but would consider it.

I voted but didn't post a reply. I think Proflow did an outstanding job w/ the TB, and there is a noticeable difference. They replace the stock throttle body plate w/ a polished one for one (felt lighter weight and smoother surface = better for air flow). A couple of my friends noticed the the car sounded like it's getter better flow, as I've been a little on the rich side, and both of my mechanics noticed a difference in driving. They both complimented Proflow and said it was a smart investment on my part (which I've made some dumb investments, and they've been sure to tell me that as well).

All in all, I'm completely satisfied. A $200 modification that got me some much needed air. Granted it's not like ZOMG 100 HP HOLY CRAP I WIN RACES NOW! But it's a sound investment at least for my s/c application.
I read forums more than I talk. /shame
