Symptoms: No resistance on petal till about half way down, pedal gets stuck on the floor, gears are hard to engage/disengage, pedal does not seem to disengage clutch fully.

It doesnt look like the master or slave cylinders are leaking.

any suggestions it is night time so im not going to tinker with it till tommorow

I still think you should give the cylinders another look. Have someone pump the clutch while you look under the hood.

as K said, check both cylinders again, and also try bleeding the system

and a bad throw-out bearing won't show symptoms shouldn't show symptoms like this unless it totally disintegrated somehow inside the bellhousing. also, it would make bearing noises as it begins to go bad long before it will totally fail on you.

Well everything seems to be working now. I'm still going to go to autozone and get a bleeder kit and change out all the fluid. Any ideas on to why it would start working after sitting for the night.

Has this been happening frequently or maybe it's just early signs of wear?

it's hard to diagnose unless it happens constantly

and yes, the bleeder screw is on the slave cylinder

i thought the master was the one that was a direct connection to the pedal i.e. the top one. I can see both the master and the slave but i cant see any bleeder valve/nipple on the slave(the bottom one right?)

I can see a bleeder valve on the master am i just missing the slaves nipple?

you're right....the master cylinder is the one that's bolted on to the firewall with the small reservoir and your clutch pedal is attached to the other side of it inside the car

the slave cylinder is the one that is attached directly to the front of your transmission. The bleeder nipple is pretty prominent, so if you can't find it, you may be looking at the accumulator, which is also on the front of the transmission. Follow the short hard line from the accumulator downwards and you should find your slave cylinder.
