Quick hubcentric spacer question

Quick hubcentric spacer question

Postby GTX » Sat Apr 25, 2009 8:35 pm

I just put some new wheels and tires on my car. The guy who did the mounting and balancing said that my hubs were slightly too small for the wheels, causing a vibration at highway speeds, but that a hubcentric ring would fix it.

I've done some research already and I know the hub size for a Camry/Solara is 60.1mm. My wheels were made for a car that had a 70.5mm hub (they are not aftermarket). After tons of google searching this is the closest I could find:

Can I use these or will that 0.1mm gap make a difference?

I believe you'll be fine, 0.1mm can be a slight error in measurement. And these are simply hubcentric rings, no spacers are involved.

Thanks. I figured I might as well try them out for $10 and no shipping.
