Although, I cannot speak on this specific model, I can say that I have had nothing but good luck with Clarion Head Units. I have, over the last 9 years, owned 5 different Clarion decks and have been very pleased with all of them.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

i also think i'm going to get that within the next couple of mths - what's the best price you've seen for it? i'm hoping it'll drop under a $1000 by christmas time

thanks guys, i just went ahead and ordered it. That's the lowest price i've seen so far, it used to be $1400 from that same website back in April. I'm glad I waited :)
