I'm in the market for new wheels. The last ones I got sucked (very heavy and curbage).

I found a set on Craigslist for $700 with Falkens 235/35/19 90%THREAD

So I email the guy, asking him for actual pics, offset, etc..

so here's what he tells me

"rite now i dont have pics....the offset idk all i know is that they are 5x 114.3 x 8 wide they fit my girls 03 accord so i think they are 45 offset... i bought the rims bout two weeks ago, for 650 one will need a tire cause the kid musta drove with a slow leak n damaged the wall on one tire, the other 3 are mint they still have the lil hair from not being driven...i purchased one center cap which costed me $85 i have the receipt... so i want 700"

Given the circumstances, are they worth getting?

Bonus: Anyone have pics of these on a Gen1 Solara?

Thats actually a Really good price if it comes with the tires mentioned above, and with the 90% tread life.

Keep in mind that if you're lowered, they WILL RUB! Especially with a 45 offset. My 18's rub, and my offset is only 40. I'm lowered on TRD springs. If you're cool with rolling your rear fenders, then you'll be ok.

I put those same rims on my dads 2000 Volvo S70 a coupe years back. I think it's a great wheel. His are hyper silver though, not chrome.

Even with 3 good tires, its a good price?

Not lowered yet, but I will definitely keep it in mind.

19's will probably give a pretty harsh ride. For me at least, 18's are borderline. Also those look HEAVY. However, I think they'd look badass if you were lowered.

My last set were 19s (5zigen 5zR), you feel more, but I prefer the look of 19s. 18s for me just have a huge gap when you have a non lowered car.
