Got my front underbody brace installed
So got my Ultra Racing underbody bar installed. It was a slight pain, as had to start with just starting the outside bolts, then moved to the insides and had to jack the bar up with the jack a bit to help get it flush enough for those ones to start. Finally though it got installed. I noticed a significant difference. It was wet out today and when I meshed the throttle at low speeds, wheel hop was greatly reduced and I seemed to have slightly better control. Composure over rough surfaces is also much better and confidence inspiring. Haven't really had a chance to push it hard in turns just because it's rained all day.
However, when going to install the rears, ran into a problem. The control arm bolts that have to removed are stuck, and we had nothing with decent leverage to break em loose. Gonna try spraying them throughout the week and get a breaker bar and do it at my place. One question though, will the stock bolts really fit through the arms? It looks like the smaller bolt on the outsides will go through, but that the washers might not fit. Anyone able to give insight into this?
